Legal Advice Centre update

6 APRIL 2022 - NATASHA - STUDENT LIFE

blog jack

Hi everyone!

It’s been a busy week at the law centre; another two clients have attended this week, and three client letters completed in the promised time! We’ve received positive feedback and appreciation for our efforts in advising on family matters, which is super encouraging!

Week 4 of 6 of the soft-launch is shaping-up to be yet another success story. The students are showing no signs of tiring and are eager to keep up the hard work! The continued focus on family matters means the students are gaining a deep understanding of the relevant law.

Next week is our second business client and we’re keen to expand the clientele for this part of the clinic. By experiencing interviews with clients first hand, as initially led by our director, we’re able to learn through experience what the issues we need to address are, and then how to navigate our independent research. This means that through our soft-launch we’re learning to become better advisors to our clients, and a great asset to anyone in Suffolk with a legal concern!

Bring on week 5 :)

If you want to find out more about this project please contact Eleanor Scarlett or the University of Suffolk. We look forward to hearing from you.

Forster, Law Student
