The Legal Advice Centre (LAC) at the University of Suffolk

The Legal Advice Centre (LAC) at the University of Suffolk is slowly but surely taking shape. The excitement of building this great project for people within the local community and further afield is still buzzing in the air, like an electric charge surging through Frankensteins monster ready to bring it to life. Maybe not the best of analogies but watching a project slowly come to life, to me is fascinating.

The behind-the-scenes team are busy beavering away at their relevant projects, be it social media, website designs, blogs or just gathering intel. Of course, there is the knot in my stomach about whether people will come ‘through the door’ looking for advice and allow us to help them, whether I am good enough to help with the launch of this great project and looking to the future to ensure that with the help of local businesses and contacts we can keep the project in motion.

This week we have been looking at promotional packages that will hopefully be placed in relevant areas and will be readily accessible to the public. The info team have been doing a wonderful job on the posters and branding that we will be using. The website team are really forging ahead with some really intriguing ideas.

Please keep an eye on all the different social platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and many others. When you find us kindly give us a ‘like’ and continue to follow how this project blooms.

If you want to find out more about this project please contact Eleanor Scarlett or the University of Suffolk. We look forward to hearing from you.
