The importance of Self Love this Valentines Month

Let’s face it this last year has been really difficult and there is no better time for self-care as we are all in desperate need of it. Whether you are single or in a relationship I challenge you to spend this Valentine’s month looking after yourself by spending a day doing your favourite things without worrying about working or what anyone else thinks. Here are a few ideas of things you can do this Valentine’s month to look after yourself and practise self-love.

  • Eat your favourite foods no matter how unhealthy
  • Re-watch your favourite TV show or film
  • Read a book
  • Have a relaxing bath or shower
  • Dance around your room
  • Go for a walk
  • Meditate / Manifest your goals
  • Put on your favourite outfit
  • Make your bed
  • Clean your room
  • Repeat affirmations to yourself
  • Drink water
  • Journal your thoughts
