HABC Level 2 Award for Personal Licence Holders

This qualification is designed for those working in, or preparing to work in, and industry that involves the retail sale of alcohol. It is a prerequisite for anyone who wishes to hold a personal licence. Anyone wishing to sell or authorise the sale of alcohol by retail on licenced premises must hold a personal licence.

Event professionals organising events selling alcohol and/or providing entertainment, such as music, dancing or indoor sporting events are encouraged to obtain a personal licence.

Persons gaining this qualification will understand the main requirements of the Licensing Act 2003, the importance of promoting the licensing objectives and the legal responsibilities of a personal licence holder.

The course is assessed by a multiple choice written assessment and there is a minimum age requirement of learners being 18 years of age or above.

Time: 9.15am - 5.00pm

Location: University of Suffolk

Cost: £120 (includes buffet lunch, course book and exam fee).

All participants will need to bring along photographic identification which should be one of the following:

  • A valid passport (any nationality)
  • A signed UK photocard driving licence

HABC Level 2 Award in Health & Safety in the Workplace

A one day interactive training course provides a level 2 qualification which is created to help businesses comply with legal requirements.

This qualification will provide you with an understanding of employers / employees responsibilities, the benefits of good health and safety, steps to a risk assessment and how you can reduce accidents, near misses and ill-health, common causes of accidents, typical hazards and controls in a workplace and more.

The course is assessed by a multiple choice written assessment.
