Domestic Abuse Research Network to be launched in 2019

28 NOVEMBER 2018 - OLUMIDE - RESEARCH DEVELOPMENT

A Domestic Abuse Research Network is to be created, following the successful "Approaches to Reducing Domestic Abuse" Conference held on the 3rd of November 2018 and as part of the ESRC Festival of Social Science.

Fifty expressions of interest has been received from academics, researchers, community organisations and people working in the domestic abuse sector to continue to come together to share learning  and ongoing research on domestic abuse in East Anglia (Cambridge, Essex, Norfolk, and Suffolk).

The Suffolk Institute for Social and Economic Research (SISER) will be developing collaborations and research proposals and organising workshops and conferences on domestic abuse over the coming months to develop the Research Network.

To find out more about joining the network, or taking part in forthcoming events and opportunities, please email: Dr Olumide Adisa: research@uos.ac.uk.
