Information update- 29 May
We will be providing our current students and applicants with full details of the next academic year within the next couple of weeks (early June).
Our guiding principles for our delivery during semester one will be based around a rich blended learning environment, which will include some online delivery of lectures as well as face to face delivery of seminars, lab work and tutorials. We do not intend to have a fully online academic year for any of our students.
Our campus will be safe and welcoming for new and returning students, but we will observe - as all universities must - the government guidance in place at the time and will review this advice as circumstances change.
Please note the campus is closed, including the Library, to all but essential business functions. Thank you
The University, like other institutions around the UK, is responding to the coronavirus outbreak (also known as COVID-19). Our priority is always the health and safety of students, staff and our community. The University’s Senior Leadership Team, is meeting regularly to carefully monitor the situation and respond accordingly. As of Monday 23 March 2020, teaching will be delivered via online methods only.
We are following the advice through regular updates from the UK Government, Public Health England and university bodies, for example Universities UK. We will continue to take all appropriate and necessary steps, as required by the official advice, to keep our community safe.
