The Admissions Department

The University of Suffolk has a centralised Admissions service which is located at the Ipswich campus in the Waterfront Building. The Admissions department is responsible for Undergraduate, Postgraduate taught and part-time admissions, undertaking all aspects of Admissions administration for all programmes offered in Ipswich and across the Learning Network. Admissions support is also provided by Higher Education Administrators at each of the University of Suffolk partners (East Coast College, Suffolk New College and West Suffolk College).

The Admissions team deals with the formal processes relating to the admissions of students, managing their experience from application to the point of Induction with the University of Suffolk.

The University of Suffolk Admissions Team

  • Process applications received from UCAS and through the University of Suffolk on-line application from from initial acknowledgement through to induction and enrolment
  • Facilitates a centralised Admissions service
  • Work closely with the Student Centre to provide an informative and comprehensive service for enquirers and applicants
  • Work to enhance and improve the Applicant experience
