Emily O'Neill

Emily O’Neill is a Research Assistant within the Institute of Health & Wellbeing/Integrated Care Academy at the University of Suffolk.

Emily has a BSc in Biomedical Science and MSc in Neurosensory Sciences. She completed the NHS Scientist Training Programme (STP) in Ophthalmology and Vision Science at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children, specialising in Visual Electrophysiology. While at the NHS she was awarded the GOSH NIHR BRC Internship and the NIHR Pre-doctoral Clinical Academic Fellowship (PCAF) to undertake research to improve retinal assessments for children with rare metabolic conditions.
